Why has President Obama been verbally attacking The GOP and Tea Party Members lately?

My sentiments exactly! I'm completely flabbergasted that these cult-evangelical extremists who decided, rather ironically, to label their movement "teabagging" (lol) are just completely IGNORING the fact that President Obama has not only cut the taxes you cite, but has also gotten PAYBACKS ($174 BILLION so far) from 14 of the 400 banks bailed out in 2008 by simply setting up restrictions on CEO salaries and bonuses until they DO pay us taxpayers back IN FULL and also WITH INTEREST! They are late arrivals, reacting more to the Bush/Cheney and GOP massive deficit spending without paying ANY ATTENTION WHATSOEVER to the GOOD that President Obama is doing---like saving taxpayers $61 BILLION by simply canceling a Bush-ordered presidential helicopter fleet and saving 128 x $134.6 MILLION by simply canceling the Cheney-ordered 128 F-22 planes built for the USSR/US Cold War days and WAY WAY overpriced.

'Tis a puzzlement. TY for your research on the truth of the matter, though...maybe some will actually READ and LEARN.

Mr. Wolf, I have noticed and recognized your posts as 'thought provoking' and 'well developed', which is why I find this post so 'out of character'! The President and his Democratic Congress have and intend massive increases in both 'personal' and 'corporate' taxes! Two of the 'personal taxes that will be 'devastating to individuals and families, are 'estate tax changes and to 'exemptions' on income tax returns.

Where all Americans will suffer is as new and oppressive taxes are applied to business, corporations, and products, the added cost will be passed directly on to the American people in the form of higher prices for goods, new fees, and higher fees! All this means that each dollar spent results in fewer goods and services! This is even before the inevitable 'inflation' (devaluation of the dollar) which always follows deficit government spending!

It's all about 'cause and effect'!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
