A couple relationship is more than a buddy relationship. It is the beginning of a family unit. In most instances a family is closed to all who are not legally or biologically related.
Friends, though the orbit be close, are at best peripheral. As far as women weakening their friendships goes (a hypothesis of dubious merit), should your buddy covet your lady-friend, see how long your relatlionship with him lasts.
It is great for a couple to have that special relationship, but it is so important for you to have woman friends , too. Old friends, new friends - they are wonderful to have around. The first sparks of a love relationship are always like you say above, but they will never stop being your friend.
Women and men have profoundly different goals. This is anthropological and goes back millions of years. This isn't a slam on women today - it is just a natural biological thing.
Storically women exist to mate, nurture, procreate and raise the brood. That is their biological destiny. Once women have found a mater, their traditional biological role is to get pregnant over and over again to ensure the power and perpetuation of the tribe.
Men have existed historically to defend the tribe from attackers, and to provide food shelter and protection for their family - that is their role in the perpetuation of the tribe. And of course their biological role is to impregnate their women as well. Some women are going to react by telling me I am a neanderthal in my thinking.
But 30 million years of human existence and evolution tells quite another story. So to answer your question: Women are friends with women only until a man comes along because that is their anthropological role. Men are freinds with men forever because that is how the tribe defended itself.

The Disney couples are: arial and prince eric, bell and beast, cinderella and prince charming, snow white and prince charming, princess aura and prince philp and aladin and jasmine.
Come to find out, they got breakfast, mimosa’s, and cute Princess flip flops. So sadly, I didn’t get any. Bummer, but it’s my fault.
We got on the monorail to go back to the resort and Princess was officially over. This race gets two huge thumbs up from me. The organization is great, the characters are fun, and where else can you run in a tutu?!?
I know for a lot of people, Princess was their first half. I was so proud of EVERYONE out there on that course, bettering their bodies, and becoming more healthy. That’s what it’s all about.
I would call it a spiritual organization. There is a line between an organization that's free thinking, and one that teaches people how to think, which is what most organized religions do. An organization that teaches a relationship with a divine source along with traditional ways of enacting that worship is religion. It includes precepts of rights and wrongs and a course of action already set in order which must be followed in order to pursue one's relationship with god.
But, a group in which that spiritual source is given leeway to express uniquely through each person is spirituality, not religion. A group in which the divine source is seen as existing within, and is wholly free form and new in the moment, not based upon old teachings and the experiences of others is spirituality.....an ever new indwelling communication with spirit with the goal being realization of oneness with that spirit. Religion is organized protocol concerning the concept of god.
Spirituality is a living, free form assimilation of Cosmic intelligence, based upon one's own personal expression and journey. It may include techniques, but once learned it is up to the individual as to how they are incorporated into their life. There is no one to act as the Middle man.
That' is why the saying, "If you meet the Buddha in the road, kill him". It symbolizes the difference between a spiritualist and a religious person. Religion teaches you to worship the master.
The spiritual path teaches the true master lies within, and from there worships all of life. To a spiritualist there is nowhere god is not.To a religious person, god is in stories, books, the church, their ideals, their hopes, their dreams and their fears. And it is all a learned response.
Hmmm. . .interesting.
Some things I've never thought of or really looked at. Musicholickgp 5 months ago .
It's as much of a religion as any other. It has a belief system (just not well defined). Religion is not defined by titles or buildings or membership cards, or even prayers.
They consider themselves very open Christians.
It does have history with Jewish and Christian traditions, but not every UU is a Christian. I call myself an atheist actually, as well as someone else I know, but there many UU's that may be Christian, agnostic, atheist, Buddhist, Taoist, Sikhs, etc. Musicholickgp 5 months ago .
But I'm sure the Christians in it, many of them are probably very open to other beliefs or non-believers. Musicholickgp 5 months ago .
Unitarian" is a religion. "Universalist" is a religion. Both make claims about God, and as such, "atheism" is a religion (so is agnosticism, which claims God is unknowable.) Basically, every human being makes some claim about God thru actions and choices.
The creeds of both Unitarians (god, but no trinity, no sin, no salvation needed) and Universalists (everyone goes to heaven) were close enough, and their respective memberships small enough, for the two religions to merge into one in 1961.
I'd call it a liberal institution or cult but more in the sense of a cult that fills a need in our society-not a negative org. By any means.
Sounds like the Quaker's who are the most widly respected of humanitarians, having 'removed' silly titles, gender and race and in so doing have removed the dogma that keeps people chained to the world, thus 'freeing' or 'releasing' the profain from synthetic belief systems that fail to 'prove out' under proper examination. This allows us to stay away from both politics and religion and listen to (The Still Small Voice Within) H.P. Blavatski Blessings .
It is definately a religion. "Unitarian Universalism was formed from the merger in 1961 of two historically Christian denominations, the Universalist Church of America and the American Unitarian Association, both based in the United States. At the time of the North American merger, the theological significance of these terms had expanded beyond the traditional Christian understanding.
Unitarian Universalists today draw from a variety of religious traditions. Individuals may or may not self-identify as Christians or subscribe to Christian beliefs. Unitarian Universalist congregations and fellowships tend to retain some Christian traditions, such as Sunday worship with a sermon and the singing of hymns.
The extent to which the elements of any particular faith tradition are incorporated into personal spiritual practice is a matter of personal choice for congregants, in keeping with a creedless, non-dogmatic approach to spirituality and faith development. You can say I love you in Korean by saying sarang hae. This is used mostly for a couple love, such as husband and wife, or boyfriend and girlfriend.
Some say that French is the language of love. To tell your loved one "I Love You" in French simply say "Je t'aime". To say "I Love You Very Much" you can say "Je t'aime beaucoup".
To pronounce "Je t'aime" say it like this: Jah-tEM. The Jah sounds similar to the g in protégé. Saying "I Love You" in Italian to your sweetheart is as easy as saying "Ti Amo".
If you want to tell your parents or children "I Love You" in Italian it is actually translated differently as "Ti voglio bene". To pronounce "Ti Amo" say it like this: Tee-Ah-Mo. "Ti voglio bene" is pronounced as Tee-Voh-Lee-Oh-Ben-Ney.
I spent almost four years living in Germany while serving in the U.S. Army. One of the first phrases in German that I learned was "Ich Liebe Dich" which translates to "I Love You". To pronounce "Ich Liebe Dich" say it like this: Ick-Lee-Bah-Dik.
It is my understanding that in other areas of Germany it is actually pronounced Ish-Lee-Bah-Dish. The first pronunciation is the one that I had learned while living in a small town called Ansbach. This one I have had a lot of practice saying.
My wonderful Mom is Korean and grew up in the countryside of Korea as a child. To say "I Love You" in Korean you would say "Saranghayo". While there are websites that mention different ways of saying "I Love You" in Korean, this is the one and only version that my family uses.
To pronounce "Saranghayo" say it like this: Sah-Rong-Hay-Yo. Apparently saying "I Love You" in Japanese is much more complicated. You will find many versions of a simple "I Love You" for the Japanese language.
Oddly enough, the Japanese culture does not use this phrase frequently, some have never used the expression in their lifetime. One of the most common ways to say "I Love You" to someone in Japanese is "Aishiteru". To pronounce "Aishiteru" say it like this: Eye-Shee-Ter-U.
One alternative way to say "I Love You" in Japanese is "Aishite Imasu" pronounced Eye-Shee-Tey-Mas. Having spent two weeks in Albania this one is a bit more personable to me as well. To say "I Love You" in Albanian simply tell your sweetheart "Te Dua".
To pronounce "Te Dua" say it like this: Tay-Due-Ah. The Dutch language can sometimes be difficult to pronounce. Saying "I Love You" to your sweetheart in Dutch is sure to impress him/her.
To Say "I Love You" in Dutch you would say "Ik Hou Van Jou". To pronounce it say it as it appears: Ick-How-Van-Jow. If you wish to tell someone you love them in Chinese you can try this Mandarin version, "Wo Ie Ni".
There are also other versions of "I Love You" such as "Wo Oi Ney" which is the Cantonese version. To pronounce "Wo Ie Ni" say it like this: woah-eye-nigh. To pronounce "Wo Oi Ney" you would say: woah-oi-neigh.
In Greek the translation of "I Love You" becomes "S' Agapo". Apparently this form of saying "I Love You" is pronounced exactly as it appears, making it an easy one to pronounce to your sweetheart. If you'd rather tell someone "I Like You" in Greek you would instead say "Mou Aresis".
It may seem silly that I include the English way of saying "I Love You", but it seems that many people have a hard time saying it. If you love someone you should tell them. If you are thinking of telling your sweetheart that you love them for the first time then say it in plain English "I Love You".
Now you know ten different ways for saying "I Love You". It may be fun to include these different versions of "I Love You" in your Valentine's Card, Anniversary Card, or in your proposal speech. Just make sure to say them often and say them with meaning.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
