The health of your colon is so crucial as it can and does affect many other parts of your body. Your colon and the balance of good and bad bacteria is of prime importance to your whole well being. Due to 70% of your immune system being in your colon it can lead to many bugs, germs and illnesses taking hold of you.
In general this can also lead to illness taking longer to get rid of totally. By it’s nature being where your body stores it’s hard to digest foods comes under attack from all kinds of nasties that will try to take hold and wear down the good bacteria (probiotics) This will lead to your body showing signs of fatigue and a general lack of energy amongst other things. This will lead to you feeling run down and maybe even partly a cause of depression or comfort eating, which in a unhealthy bowel is making things far worse.
