Why Is Easter Monday, The Day After Easter Sunday, Not A Federal Holiday In The United States?

I don't know about the US, but it isn't in Canada either. Easter Monday really is no part of the Easter celebration. Good Friday is a national holiday though.

Not that I don't celebrate Easter but I don't understand why any religious holidays should be considered a National holiday. My guess on why it isn't is if they give you Good Friday and they know you are already celebrating on Sunday... they gotta draw the line some where?

Yeah, tangoshoes has it right, it is all about business and money in the Americas :(.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
