Why is it difficult for third parties to get elected in the united states?

There's a two party dictatorship in this country. Political parties should be abolished.

Many diffrent reasons, first off they don't have the infastructure the two parties have to raise money and get out the vote, 2nd they usually have to small a platform. 3rd and the most daming most of them are break offs from the two main partys and when they break away the usually take away people with there ideals from there own party, meaning there former party will now advocate less for the ideals these people beleive in. I should also note when one of these people get elected into the excutive branch they have a hard time doing there jobs becuase they have no in congress to support them.

Ross Perot must take some of the blame because he took a lot of the hope away for an independent party. Media takes the biggest blame because they are owned by those in power now and have no desire to lose there power. Ron Paul is the nearest to an independent I have seen in my lifetime and he will get my vote even if I have to write it in.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
