Why is it so hard for people of authority to admit when they make a mistake?

People in authority don't like being wrong and they don't like it if it is pointed out to others that they are wrong. But it is pride like this that has caused many innocent people to be locked up for years. There have been to many cases where the wrong man or woman has been charged with a crime they had nothing to do with.

Pride and not admitting that they have the wrong person in situations like this keeps people from speaking up and saying that they were wrong. So the innocent suffer so that a person can save face and their pride. And this can apply to any situation where a person with pride would rather let the wrong on rather then to correct it.No matter how many people get hurt behind it. Rainbowsun 62 months ago.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
