Why is Jason Calacanis trying to shamelessly steal Leo Laporte's brand by producing far inferior shows?

The "This Week In {whatever}" thing began in 1977 with This Week In Baseball. Mel Allen should be getting all the dough and so while both Jason and Leo have shows that prefix themselves with this "TWi" thing they are not the first to do so and who makes the better show is entirely subjective. Some like the Leo thing, some like the Jason thing.. I cannot for the life of me imagine why in the world full grown adults would be caring about this and carrying on sooooo much about this if they are not financially involved.

Get over it ...you are on the internet and not in a "This Week Pontificating" episode.

Why don't you take part in the live chat during one of Leo's TWiT podcast recordings when Jason is on and ask him. Maybe you'll get an answer.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
