There are many reasons why your blog might not be showing up in the search engines. The blogging services|blogging service you are using, or whether you website hosting|host the blog on your own domain name|domain, the blog and ping|ping settings you have, how new the blog is, whether other sites are linking to it... those are just the top reasons that come to mind, but there can be others. The key is to make sure of a few things... 1.
Check your ping settings. Is your blog set to ping any services and which ones are they? Some think more is better here, but not necessarily so.
Some services ping to many others, and if you have several that are pinging the same service, it can be seen as spamming. If it is not set to ping, you want it to be... but only after you are done with any testing, because again, it will ping every time you update, and you don't want to ping too often. There are plugins available for some blog software, like Wordpress, that allow you to set how often it will ping.2.
Have you been indexed but are just not ranking? Go to the major search engines, such as Google and do a site search for your blog. If you have your own domain, just do a search for site:yourdomain.com.
If you are with a service, like Blogger, search for your blog title on that domain: blogtitle site:blogger.com. If you do not see your blog, then you are not indexed yet. If however, your blog comes up, then you are listed and just need to keep building up the content and try to start ranking for your target keywords.3.
Are other sites linking to you? It is a real possibility that your other blogs were indexed and may even rank because someone else saw them and linked to them. Go to the search engines again and search for link:yourblogurl.Com and find out if anyone is linking to you that the search engines know about.
Whether they are or not, more incoming links can never hurt as long as they are from reputable sites. Try finding a forum about your topic that allows URL|URL's in the signature and get active there. Two or three forums are even better.4.
Are you blogging often enough? Depending on your topic, you may need to blog fairly often to compete with the other blogs in your niche website topics|niche. When there is a lot of competition, it takes more effort to stand out from the crowd.
There are no hard and fast rules that will guarantee you a great listing in the search engines, or even that you will be indexed. But, continuing to add great content and building out your blog for your visitors is the best way I know of to get a great ranking once you are indexed. It even tends to get organic incoming links as people find you and like (or hate) what you have to say.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
