Why is petroleum jelly/vaseline and mineral oil bad for removing make up?

Vaseline is not good for your skin because it sticks to the skin and can't be cleaned off, even with soap and water and a washcloth. Vaseline is particularly nasty because the greasy film will attract dirt to your skin and make it stick there, irritating the skin. The film left behind can clog up pores leading to blackheads.

Vaseline is good for patches of extremely dry, chapped sore skin as it forms a protective greasy film over the very dry areas where the skin's moisture barrier is compromised. Vaseline is also the base for many lip-balms, where you want the protective film to remain on the lips and protect them. Mineral oil is a different product, and far better for skin.

It's lighter, whisks makeup away easily, and if you use a toner after it doesn't leave a greasy residue. It's lighter and less likely to clog pores. Many make-up removers use mineral oil as a base, so it's a good choice.

Many commercial moisturizers also use mineral oil as one of the base ingredients. Modern ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
