Why is scientology not seen as a cult by mainstream scholars of NRM's (new religious movements)?

We have not even started and ones definition needs clarification are we talking GOD or CREATOR S they are not necessarily the same thing what ever one defines as a god the causality of a certain action is Implied only after one defines what the god is first Meaning "god"would be a "noun" person place or thing(s) and Create is a "verb" a description of action it conveys action . . Creator refers to a something that causes something else to happen.

One can be in the desert and see the sand ripples and observe and feel the wind blowing creating the sand ripple . The wind is observed Some one may then APPLY the word "God" to wind as their conceptional God called the WIND GOD or SOME very observant people who evaluate things and have diminished SUPERSTITIOUS thinking would just stay with the WIND created the sand ripples Meaning not every human ( living beings capable of thought ) observing sand ripples would apply PERSONIFICATION to the wind to have THOUGHT and INTENT Some one once asked how many gods are their . The answer is as many as a single human can conceive by the number of humans existing .

So at the present 7 billion times the possibility of one Humans imagination. What is the possibility of how many have been conceived as many as the sum total of all humans who ever existed multiplied by their imagination . If you entered any place of worship of 300 and asked each of the parishioner to DESCRIBE their god you would get 300 answers with some unifying characteristic but it will be slightly different for each person .. On the subject of Certainty there is POSSIBLE PROBABLE and FACT possible capable of happening Probable Likely to happen Fact indisputable Universe the simplest definition is EVERYTHING that exist ... ..If one takes the definition of everything that exist as universe .

One would first have to demonstrate gods exist . ...if one could demonstrated gods to be indisputable and exist then god would itself be part of the universe . Being part of something does not imply the causality .

...If one is asking about POSSIBILITY why has one limited the Possibility to ONLY Gods. As if the questioner is asserting gods are the only possibility and then asking how many ..that is like Asserting special knowledge that # 1 the universe was created # 2 Only gods could do it Then asking How many would it take to do it . When gods are not verified to exist to start with ..Do I Have SPECIAL Knowledge of how the universe came to be?

NO why would I ASSUME a God did is that the ONLY possibility if we are talking Possibilities? I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
