This is worth the read, I actually use science ;) Obviously no one can PROVE God exists, and no one can disprove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that God does not exist. The Christian God, more like the Abrahamic God, is one god, an entity above human comprehension that is not human, nor anything close to human, it's not an animal, or anything physical. It's something we simply can not comprehend, it's hope, the universe, time, existence, you, me, buildings, the earth, oceans, animals, all the elements, god is everything.

God is a consciousness that has no resentment, no fear, no doubt, no master, and no creation. God is something we can't prove, and we can't understand. Anyways, now that I've cleared what God is, I think the Secrets of Fatima, the Shroud of Turin, and the basic universe can provide evidence to support a God.

1. The Three Secrets of Fatima. I'll spare you the details, anyways, three Portuguese children (7 yrs.

9 yrs. And 10 yrs.) went out into a field, claimed to have seen an apparition of the Virgin Mary that told them on this day for three months she'll tell them three secrets, but they should keep this secret. They go home to their village, the youngest, unable to control herself tells her mom about this.

The next Sunday some men from the local church start interrogating the children. They become intrigued and follow them to the field the next month. After the three children get on their knees in a prayer position, they enter a trance, and the men are unable to wake them up for a couple of minutes.

After they wake up they are separated and interrogated individually. Not only are their stories nearly exact, they all appear to be telling the truth (You know how you can see in a little kids' eye when they lie). After being told what their claiming goes against God, they continue with their stories, firm in their belief.

Next month, most of the town goes to see the second secret. Same thing happens, they go into a trance, no one can wake them up, and then they're separated and interrogated individually. Nearly exact same story.

Next month nearly all of Portugal assembled into the small field to see the miracle, if I recall correctly, either 10,000 or 100,000 people were in the field, and some were in the surrounding villages. After they broke out of the trance, Lucia Santos, the eldest, told her parents the Virgin Mary was going to give them a sign. Seconds later the cloudy overcast sky burst blue and the sun started to spin and gave off multicolored lights, but was duller than usual.

I'm not saying that event itself was the miracle, I'm saying the miracle was that an 10 year old child predicted it only seconds before it happened. Sounds crazy, I know, but this is all fact. I'm speaking in the most secular manner I can for this.

Anyways, after that the secrets were revealed to the public slowly. They were all written in 1917 and opened when the Vatican believed the time was right. Go look on Wikipedia if you want to read the secrets and how they correspond to real life events.

2. The Shroud of Turin. This is the famous cloth Jesus was supposedly buried in.

We all know the story of Easter which is actually next weekend, on Friday Jesus was crucified, died the next day and was buried in a cave and had a massive stone put over the cave. On Sunday Mary Magdalene saw a light from the cave, the rock was no longer on the door, and the shroud was all that remained. Jesus was gone.

After that Mary ran to Peter and Joseph to tell them. After that the Shroud disappeared until the First Crusade(?) when it was discovered in a burning building by the Knight's Templar. They took it, being amazed at the face on it, and then it disappeared for some time before reappearing in Turin, Italy, and there it remained.

Tests have been done on it, most famously the one in the 80's when they determined the Shroud was from 1200 AD. 'A fake'. Just recently in 2010 however, they tested it again (Radiocarbon dating) What they found was, peculiar to say the least.

It was embedded with radiation, not enough to cause harm but exceeding natural amounts. It was later found out that what had made the image on the Shroud was a form of light pollution. Spooky eh?

Anyways, the 'big' thing (lol) is that the shroud's dating went back to at least 500 BC-100 AD, taking into account that radiocarbon dating wasn't that good in 1988 and the shroud was embedded with radiation, meaning it would obviously through off the dating, most scientists call the 1988 test faulted. This is all true by the way.

You pick up a small device, punch in a message, send, and almost instantly, you've sent a message miles away, if not across the world. You get in your car, punch in where you want to go on a GPS and receive step by step instructions. You purchase a car, and the dealership can install a GPS to keep track of it.

If you want to, you can install a GPS on anyone's car and keep track of their where abouts. You get the idea. A woman wants a baby but doesn't have to have sex to get one.

Our government and other governments all have spy satellites in space so they can spy on one another, or you. Your conversation can be heard without them having to be present to hear it and you can even buy your own monitoring devices if you want to. Turn on the camera of your choice and point it and you have an instant picture of video.

Scientists can clone animals, and humans. If man, in a couple of hundred years or so has advanced as far as we have, why do you doubt there could be a higher intelligence who is far ahead of us? To me, your question is like me asking Microsoft to prove the internet exists.

I can't see it. I know it exists and it's very complicated and can send a signal out to a satellite somewhere in space in a second and I have my results. It is not hard to believe a higher intelligence created our universe, cloned mankind and animals; that DNA was probably used to create Eve.

That Mary could be a virgin and have Jesus. (definition below). And, I believe (the Christian) God could even have used 'the big bang' to start the universe.

If we can split an atom, and all sorts of other destructive and constructive things, why would we think we were the first to think of it? With all this in mind, I invite you to read the bible again.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
