Why is the buddha called Buddha?

Buddha means simply, "The Enlightened One" Which a man named Siddhartha Guatama picked up after he meditated for many days on the meaning of life. When he finished, he could see the "true path" and therefore, became 'enlightened As a Buddhist, I feel as though I can help you. The Path to Enlightenment was very difficult for Gautama Siddartha of othe Sakya clan.

He left behind a wife Yasodhara, and an infant son Rahula, (both of whom he loved) to find the Way. He was gone from his home for six years. He learned very quickly from various Masters.

But he could not find the Way. He practiced self-mortification to the point of him nearly dying. Still, he could not find the Way.

But then we got to a village and met two children (the first two of many) One was a rich girl, one was an untouchable. Yet they were both treated the same and became friends under the teachings of the monk Gautama. Then he sat beneith a Pippala tree and practiced meditation, mindful breathing, and mindful eating.

One night, he became Enlightened. I unfortunitly cannot describe the experience to you. :-( But the children recognized that he found the Way.

And they invited other children to see him. The Enlightened monk Gautama told them a story... and then the children talked to him. They wanted to call him the Buddha because it means "One who is Awakened" and they renamed the Pippala tree the Bodhi tree because it had a form of the name Buddha in it.

The monk Gautama was pleased by this, and thus was renamed the Buddha Please, if you really wish to learn more, I implore you to read "Old Path White Clouds" by Thich Nhat Hanh I think you are little wrong ...... Sorry for that But there is a large meaning for word " Buddha It difficult to explain to a man According to the history... 28 Lord Buddhas were born in this Earth . . .(Not in same time ) They all called The Lord Buddha ... Not only for Gautama Buddha According to the lord buddha .. This world has a rhythm ... Every moment has a circle ... Future becomes present ... Present becomes Past ... & again Past become Future .. & again.. Future becomes Present .. .

If you want to see the real meaning of Lord Buddha .. . You must follow the way of lord Buddha.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
