Why is the Country in such a bad state of affairs if it is that Obama has done such a good job during his almost eight years in office?

Welp, if the USA degenerated to the point where it would declare war on a religious belief or group, then it would've abandoned the basic principles of the Constitution on which this country was founded. Since I believe that all people are created equal, and people have the freedom to choose what they want to believe..... I guess I would have to fight for Islam.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
