Why is the film quality of dramas always better than documentaries or talk shows?

Better' is subjective but if we consider communal cinematic sensibilities.. Generally speaking, dramas are filmed on real celluloid film stock because of the versatility and venerability of the medium and the tendencies of directors to use common celluloid dramatic devices like dolly cameras, under/overcranking, excessive or sparse saturation, variable exposure and constrast in development, etc. The analog nature of film stock lends a more cinematic atmosphere. Documentaries are sometimes-to-most-often shot with digital cameras because of the sheer volume of footage that must be recorded and edited later to produce an interesting film (the ratio of discarded footage to post-production footage is very, very high), the weight of the portable equipment (digital is a tiny fraction of the weight of reel-to-reel cameras), and when they are shot on film stock they don't often have the ability to set up lighting and audio properly (or use sets and soundstages), nor be spontaneous. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
