Why is the GOP so afraid of Michelle Bachmann's Tea Party following?

The "TEA Party Congress" as you call it, is right and Liberal Democrats know it. There is one thing that needs to be remembered about the TEA Party. The TEA Party is not about right-wing Republicans.

The Tea Party is made up of Conservatives Republicans, Independents and Democrats. The TEA Party movement truly does represent The American People probably better than any organized political party.

Honey, we aren't afraid of the Tea Party. The Republicans are. The Tea Party is just another wing of the Republican Party, if an extreme fringe one, but nothing new on our list of unfriendly combatants.

But you scare the pants off the regular Republicans because you represent an attitude that they know will lose the Republicans seats and the Presidency in the next election. You live in an ideological fantasy world in which you are just sure if we went back to 1776 the world would be perfect. You oppose gay marriage, even though the polls show that the majority of Americans don't agree with you.

You continue to expend massive amounts of energy trying to get abortion made illegal when everybody knows the only way to do that is to pass a Constitutional amendment. You pretend cutting of unemployment would suddenly create jobs when it will cost jobs instead. Etc.

,etc.,etc. For you to be a threat, you would have to come up with a rational plan that is based on reality instead of perceived socialism and a nanny government that you only object to if you're not the recipient. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
