I agree with you; I like to answer the unanswered questions as well. However, I do think it may be worth it even if the user is inactive. Someone in the future may search for the same answer, and your reply may be useful to that new person.
Plus, a lot of people just read interesting questions and answers (like I do), so I do think that it will be useful. Even if they do not get picked by the asker, a number of people are making a point to vote for questions that do not have a winner. I am one of those people, and a few more people have jumped on this bandwagon when I ask them to help.So yes, I do think your questions have a good chance of being chosen.
Also, I have a lot of questions that were never answered, so feel free to answer mine. And please feel free to jump on the voting bandwagon. As long as we all pitch in to vote some answers helpful, I think we will be doing a favor for each other.
I've been voting for the last few days trying to help with the back long of answered questions where a best answer was not selected. If you have the best answer once someone votes on the question, someone may find the answer you have given later on and find it useful.
I have been going around to old answers and voting some and answering some as well. I have also noticed a few other people doing this as well, it will be like a mahalo voting party!
The list is open questions all old questions with inactive users because (without quotes):.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
