Why is the Prince William and Kate Middleton wedding such a big deal?

LOL You must not have been around for the Charles-Di wedding, it was the same thing, same hype as well. I watched the last one, and I'll watch this one too. But it could be just that I live in the US and we don't have this kind of tradition.

No it's not over hyped. It's a royal wedding and Wills may be the next king. What is OTT though, is the amount of wedding merchandise that is on sale (like in your link!) but it should be noted that Kate Middleton's parents are also selling wedding-related things: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-... Not the hype around the actual wedding. I will watch the wedding, but I just want to see her dress!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
