Why is the women's gymnastics in the Olympics accompanied by music but not the men's?

I think the reason the women's gymnastics are accompanied by music is because they have a section in their routines that include dance moves. This is mandatory for women but not for men,so in order for the judges to recognize "dance" seqences during each routine there is music and the moves need to "fit" the music.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
