Why is there a Mac version and a Windows version of the same Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner? S510 vs S510M?

Unfortunately it is not as easy as just using the Mac software with the Windows ScanSnap 510 and vice-versa. For whatever reason, Fujisu doesn't allow that. There have been people who have used a crazy Japanese version of the driver to do this, but I haven't personally tried it.

I have been told that Fujitsu is finally getting smart and the S1500/1500M, which will be out this year, will in fact work cross platform and it is just the shipped software that is different, but that doesn't help you right now.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
