Why is there such a disconnect between preventative care practitioners and primary care doctors?

I'm unclear as to what you mean by a "preventative care practitioner". Mainstream medicine seems to not even recognize the term, lol. To me, it makes me think of naturopathic doctors.

I bet this question could be answered if you defined your term just a bit =).

What I mean by preventative care basically is how we take care of our bodies every day before any type of disease may occur. Or in my case, I had a really tough delivery with my twin girls and it completely wiped my body out. Even almost a year after, I was always exhausted and felt horrible but yet could not find any medical reason as to why.

Typically a doctor may refer you to a specialist to help find reasons it could possibly be. No one even mentioned seeing Naturalistic doctor (or nutritionist). My primary doctor touched upon the basic questions of nutrition but not to any great degree.

It was not until I found one myself where they did further testing and realized my adrenal glands were lacking as well as other key nutrients in my body. I just don't think it is emphasized enough the key role of ensuring your body is getting all the essential vitamins and minerals it needs to function properly. As well as major implications if you are not.

After all this time there is still a disconnect from our primary doctors and alternative care. Recommending you to a specialist in whole health, even more so when there is not obvious cause. I know this is a long answer, but hope it helps!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
