It can also be hiatal hernia which makes a sort of "tearing" pain high in the stomach. Just about everybody gets a little hiatal hernia, but mostly people don't have symptoms for it. Mostly this acid reflux stuff comes out of being allergic to what you're eating.
So one thing to try is the Atkins diet. It gets you off the stuff which people find causes allergy. Acid reflux can be reduced to nothing inside of a week.
Get a used copy of "New Diet Revolution" off of Amazon - or it's probably in the library. Great diet - you get plenty to eat, but no more carbs. You wouldn't believe how much better you feel when you don't eat the garbage anymore that we tend to eat in our culture.
Also, if you haven't done it already, get the head of your bed up 6 inches. Get a carpenter or somebody to help you. You need to sleep going downhill all night.
It's a little odd at first, but it really helps hold that stomach down at night - and it's a lot better for your lungs as well. Anyway - hope that there's a way out of that without taking anymore drugs!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
