Kid, look at this picture: http://facetofloor.files.wordpress.com/2... These kids have NOTHING. They live in poverty day in and day out. Yet, they are still able to smile sometimes.
You have absolutely no right to bash your parents because they don't buy you "stuff." Things cost money. That means they go to work and work their butts off to put FOOD on the table, CLOTHES on your back, and a ROOF over your head.
Wow, you are one lucky kid. When I was growing up, the best I got was hot-wheels, And I was happy with that. $250 bucks isn't pocket change for everyone, try calling a charity like Christian Children's fund and ask them what "$250" can do to CHANGE someone else's life.
All I'm saying is, be grateful for what you have. Don't expect more, unless you know in your heart that you deserve it. Wash the dishes, clean the car, help out around the house.
That's what I was doing at your age. And yes, I got an allowance. Start being a member of your own family, not a selfish loner that sits back and plays video-games without a care in the world for anyone else but yourself.
First of all, I don't think you would be insulting your parents on Yahoo! Answers if you were a responsible teenager. Second, you're not 18 so whatever they say goes and you have no say in what happens.
It is their money so they can waste it or put it to good use. You also cannot demand your money back lol. Sure it sucks but they are doing what most parents lack with their children and are having a backbone.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
