Why non muslim's think Islam is not tolerant of other religion's.?

From what I understand from previous answers on here the majority of the population in Iran are "Shia". These are not recognised by other Muslims because they are not "true" Muslims. I find this hard to comprehend, if someone is living as a Muslim,obeying Allah and Mohammed and living life according to the Quran,then they must surely be a Muslim.

As we say in my neck of the woods. If it looks like a duck,walks like a duck and quacks like a duck,-then it is a duck.

I don't know who Bahai followers are. But anyone who has a Muslim name does not mean that he is a Muslim. We know from history that many non-Muslims dress up like Muslims and cause terrorism and ruin the name of Islam.

Second of all anything that goes against Islam is highlighted by media. If some one does something in media it comes that Muslims did it and it keeps on coming as breaking news for day. After some days a news brief come in the newspaper that these were not Muslims.

But till that time damage is done. But what is Israel doing media never highlights that. What India is doing in Kashmir and America in Iraq and Afghanistan media doesn't talk on any of these issues.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
