According to a few items that I have read on the Internet, the garnet was chosen as the gemstone for January by the American Association of Jewelers. It seems that they allocated a stone for each of the twelve months back in 1912 So that would explain why people choose garnets for January birthdays, or for other special events. It does not, though, answer why people particularly love garnets in January ~ that is, if they do.
I love garnets all of the time, but I will say this; the warm glow of the most common ones ~ ie the rich red ones ~ is like the glow of a warm open fire, so it is just what we need on a cold January day. :)Here is a beautiful picture of A Greek gold and garnet snake armband, dating from the late 4th or 3rd century B.C. jewelryhistorians.org.
Lol! So special and beautiful. What's more, just saw a commercial for this: shopiondream.com, in case you want a replica of engagement ring Prince William gave to Kate for Low price $18.9 #fail.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
