I think this was true for the first set of games but it has picked up as the 2nd round got underway. I've been wondering the same thing though. There have been no major rule changes that I'm aware of so the only think I can think of is the Addidas Jubilani ball that is in use.It was suggested that the goalkeepers would have problems but it appears that it might be more of an issue for the players shooting on goal.
Yes, goals were less initially. But quarter onwards it was goal rain I think. In first round it may be due to players less experience with the new ball "Jabulani".
Germans were familiar with the ball earlier and they had scored many goals also.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
