Why should I reduce stress if I have Parkinson's disease?

If you have Parkinson's disease, it's important for you to look for ways to reduce your stress level and put yourself and your needs first. This is not selfish or self-centered; you must take care of yourself first! You are the authority regarding your own body.

Rest when you’re tired. Be protective about how you spend your time and energy; Parkinson’s disease uses a great deal of one’s physical energy. Coping and adapting takes a great deal of emotional and mental energy.

Do those things that are important to you and your family. Give yourself permission to say no and not feel guilty. When you are feeling better, you can say yes.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
