Why should we care about the Syrian refugee crisis ( politically)?

We have something like that in the USA already; immigrants from Latin America. Sometimes fleeing war, sometimes poverty, sometimes Narco-traffickers. Of course we are used to Spanish-speakers entering the country, many of them have learned English and many of us have learned Spanish. If we were suddenly overwhelmed with Arabs and Africans, speaking different languages, it would be harder.

I am coming to think that women with children, disabled, and over 60 should be the only refugees let in. The able-bodied men should be fighting for a better life in their own countries. If you won't fight for your country, who is going to?

Are we supposed to send troops to fight and die because the people living there don't care?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
