Why was the Canadian Pacific Railway important to Canadian/Canada History?

Plus a lot of good movies are filmed up there and stuff, plus Niagra Falls... When I go to Disney I love going to the Canada part of Epcot. I watched this movie in Epcot about Canada, it was really awesome, so I think I'd like to go there someday :D If I didn't live in America, Canada would be another top choice for me (.

I think of how much they get made fun of by Americans (like me). I've only been to Canada for about an hour, because I used to leave near the border and my family wanted to go just to say we'd been to another country, so I didn't really get a chance to actually get to know a real Canadian. My 3rd grade teacher was Canadian.
