The Catcher in the Rye was banned because of some of the events and themes in the novel. When it came out in 1951, things like sex weren't publicly talked about and displayed like they are today. The language used in the book was also another big reason the book was banned in schools.
Also, Holden's obvious rebellion to the adult world also worried some people, and there was concern that it would inspire teens to rebel. But the main reason it was banned was because of the language and sexual themes in the book.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
