Why was the Quran revealed?

The Quran (alternate spellings: Quraan, Qura'n, Kuran, Koran, Kura'n) is the holy book of Islam. The Quran was revealed to prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from God by the angel Gabriel about 600 years after Jesus' birth. The revelation started by 610 AD and continued until 632 AD, the year of prophet Muhammad's death One of the primary objectives of revelation in the Quran is to call people to worship one and only one God, without father, son, spirit, or duplicate of any kind.

Also the Quran reveals that some of the previous revelations from God, including some texts of the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospels, have been changed and falsified over time, necessitating the need for a final revelation The preaching sections of the Quran remind people about the coming of the Day of Judgment and then urges that this Day should be taken into consideration during one's lifetime. You are urged to be grateful to your God by doing good works. Good works are characterized by being socially relevant, that is, of benefit to society.

The preaching considers a central theme that people should be conscious of God during this life and follow the direction of the way of God. The way of God is not defined by dogma but is indicated operationally in two ways. The first pertains to carrying out actions characterized only by being beneficial to the welfare of humanity (society).

As a consequence of granting freedom of choice to mankind, religious diversity is taken for granted, so the Quran contains the principles regulating the dynamic coexistence among the various communities, faiths, and cultures The Quran also deals with rituals such as praying, fasting, food restrictions, and pilgrimage The Quran deals also with some aspects of social regulations like inheritance, punishment, marriage and divorce, and so on The Quran also laid down the principles of human rights, women's rights, equality of all people regardless of gender, belief, race, or culture One of the proofs that the holy book Quran was not written by humans or extracted from other books and that the Quran was a revelation from God to Prophet Mohamed is that the Quran includes many scientific statements that were only later proved by science. Moreover, Quran texts were revised once every year by prophet Muhammad and the angel Gabriel and revised twice on the year of prophet death.

All these facts confirm Quran authenticity and that it is the only holy book that reflects real God words with its original revelation language.
