Why won't my MP3 player recognize or play the music that is already on it?

1 "Generic" is a little too generic for me to point to a specific answer. However, most MP3 players use a flash file system for storage of both the application firmware - the program that makes it work - and the music files. If you accidentally deleted some programming, you would have to restore it.

Most manufacturers publish firmware images and updates on their websites. If you have a player from Creative Labs, you can use their recovery tool to do this, here:creative.com/products/mp3/MP3PlayerRecov... it's from another maker, you'll have to see what is available on their website.

2 The MP3 player is actually my daughters and she bought it off of eBay and it came from Hong Kong. It holds music, video, and photos and has an eBook tab and the radio feature and some cheesy games. It's pearl pink in color and has a screeen display of 1.5" across.

We haven't found any info on it really. Under the setting tab is this info:FIRMWARE VERSIONMP3 PLAYERLSC_91N11OV_A12008-05-279. 1.522005-01-09 .

IchtheosaurusRex replied to post #2: 3 It was worth a shot. Hope she didn't pay too much for it. Between you and me, I avoid eBay unless I just can't find something anywhere else.

I have used this mp3 player for over a year now and it has worked fine. ALl of a sudden I was organizing my files and something deleted. I wouldn't have thought it would have been so easy to delete a file that was NEEDED for the player to work.

Can anyone help? It's just a generic MP3 player.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
