I found that one person fixed the problem with this: "This happens to me every so often. If you are using Firefox this is the way I fix it. A manifest will embed itself in your firefox folder for reasons I don’t know.
But go to C:/program files/mozilla firefox/chrome if you see a file called m3ffxtbr. Manifest go ahead and delete it. It does no damage to the functionality of firefox and completely restores your stumble toolbar" m3ffxtbr.
Manifest is apparently an installer for MyWebSearch toolbar for Firefox, and seems to cause a lot of problems with different addons. If it still doesn't show, or that file isn't there, uninstall all addons, then reinstall SU, making sure you use the latest addon at https://addons.mozilla. Org/en-US/firefox/addon/138?
Id=138.
Amitdutt is right! I was just having this exact same issue just now and uninstalling the skype addon for FF worked. Amit- you're my hero!
Start firefox with firefox. Exe -p -no-remote and create a new "test" profile. Install the stumbleupon addon there.
If this works, then your old profile settings are corrupted in some way and you need to eliminate all occurences of stumbleupon before making it work again.
Make sure you have the firefox version: https://addons.mozilla. Org/firefox/138/ Also download the stumbleupn plugin here: https://addons.mozilla. Org/en-US/firefox/addon/138 Please reply if it still doesn't work.
If you're using a mac with firefox: Tools > Add-ons > Stumbleupon > Appearance > More position options > Stumbleupon toolbar > okay A stumble button should appear next to the URL field of your browser. Click it. Boom, there's your toolbar.
On top in the firefox window, click on View --> Toolbars, and make sure that the stumbleupon toolbar is checked. If it is and it's still not showing up, uncheck it and recheck it. Then try restarting firefox.
If that doesn't work, uninstall the toolbar and then reinstall it. If that still doesn't work, go to View --> Toolbars --> Customize . Then physically move buttons around.
Your toolbar is probably stuck somewhere, or you're encountering a rare bug. Moving things around might make it reappear. Happy stumbling!
If you haven't tried yet, check Tools > Add-ons > Extensions > and try playing around with the options for Stumble Upon.
Oh, Vista! Could be that's the problem, if Bugsy's solution doesn't work. You may need to make sure your Vista is current/all security patches.
I had the same problem and was researching a possible solution until late last night. Finally, I just uninstalled the add-on, then firefox, then rebooted. Reinstalled firefox, made a new stumble account, reinstalled stumble add-on and magically, there it was.At that point, I was able to log back in to my original account.
Hope that helps?
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
