Why won't the Brake lights on jaguar x type shut off?
I had this problem and it takes ten seconds to fix! There is a sensor that clips in above the brake fixture that got knocked loose by a larger foot. It just snaps back into place.
Get a flashlight, lean in under the dash and you will see it hanging.
After thatfine but when it's cold even the brakes don't want to work.In the winter it wouldn't stay on untill it warmed up enough. But know in warm weather it stays on but sounds like it wants to shut off. Anybody know why my jaguar 2002 hasitates untill it reaches the right tempeture?

Thanks, I'll totally check that out! My 2002 x-type 2.5 has engine light and abs lights on and can't seem to get them off. Had abs sensor replaced(code called for that) then codes called both front speed senors had them replaced.
X type 3.0 sport just stuggled to turn over now taps loudly but still runs? Have a problem with my 2002 X-type and dealership can't determine the problem. Thing is, every 5 days, my battery goes completely dead.
I recently had to get a new battery and that took almost 3 days to get one to where I live. Then I had to replace the Coolant Resevior Tank and get a new Housing Thermostat. I have a 2001 dodge 1500 pickup.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
