That really depends on the kind of medication you are taking. It also depends on what you had to eat. A reading of 86 is a healthy reading and shouldn't be causing symptoms of a "low reading" unless you usually run much higher.
Most people are "safe" to go as low as 70. But, again, for a diabetic, it really depends on what medication. The danger for a diabetic is that their medication will cause them to go lower.
You should check your sugar every 30 minutes when you get readings that low after a meal. I realize I am answering this much later than your issue and it is too late to really help you at this point. But, for future reference, if you get another low reading after a meal, just check your level a few more times over the next hour to be sure it isn't going lower.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
