You need to hit him with facts...research people that have made it in that industry & read up how they went about doing it...if you present him with the facts perhaps he will take you more seriously... find out how much it will be for a year, find out if there are any scholarships that can help you, find out if there are any jobs within that field that you can do during this time...& offer to sacrifice your truck..hey sometimes we have to give up something in order to follow your dreams... if you really put your mind into making a way, your parents will have to come & realize how seriously you are taking this.
More than anyone, a multitasker can use typical minimalist ideas. The primary thing is to get storage boxes or organizers to hold each specific task items. This keeps them close at hand but not spread all over the place.
Like a magazine organizer that lets you put mags or bound notebooks in it and hold them up like a book for using in a wall hung bookshelf. Or shoebox size plastic lidded boxes for storing all your pens, pencils, markers, and stapler, scissors etc. I like a pencil cup on the desk top for most used pens and all the others in the plastic box. I use a single bed for sleeping but also use it as a sofa for guests.
I just add a few big pillows along the wall side for a sofa look and put them on the floor when I'm sleeping. I have a shoe rack in the bottom of my closet so there are no shoes on the floor of the room. Then I got a rigid clothes hamper for dirty clothes that doubles as a small table since it's sturdy and has a hard flat top.
Try to think of everything as having two uses and keeping random clothing, shoes etc. off the floor at all times. You'll be shocked at the dif that makes.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
