I've been dealing with that for so long. At this point it's best to avoid talking about your faith unless you must. You will never be able to change the mind of others, but you can at least avoid it when you have to.
I'm not saying being ashamed of what you believe in, but since ignorance is not easily cured, pick what you'd rather do. Save religion talks for those willing to listen and those you care about, or try to defend yourself to people who will most likely never understand.
Depends on the Christian really. Some you can discuss it with. Others are best avoided all together.
The majority, I have found, will at least discuss calmly. The bible does not say "if you don't follow god, you are following satan". Really the only places "satan" is used as a description of behavior in people is when Jesus called the pharisees "children of satan" because they insisted on forcing their laws on all people (hhhmmmm, that sounds familiar!)... and when he calls Peter "satan" for ACCUSING him of breaking gods laws.
Satan simply means advesary and/or accuser. So I guess accusing people of being "satanic" makes you a "satan" yourself.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
