Will a bad catalytic converter make a car have a bad miss?

I know a bad catalytic converter can make your car not run very well. Almost to the point of not wanting to run down the road.

No, a misfire is most likely caused by the spark plugs, spark plug wires, or coil pack. If you're getting misfires, pull your plugs out and look them over for damage. Check to be sure your spark plug wires are in good condition.
