Similar questions: giving wealthy tax breaks ecomomy rolling stop overseas outsourcing jobs.
I think it's wonderful that the big oil companies and others don't have to pay taxes. After all, if they paid taxes, then they wouldn't be able to give all those executives fat bonuses, not to mention free plane rides on corporate jets to places like Hawaii where we know a lot of business gets taken care of, particularly on the golf course. And, if they had to pay taxes, gas prices would go up and we know they're only as low as they are now because of all the tax breaks they get.
The only reason they outsource jobs is because people here won't work for 18 cents an hour like they do in other countries. As soon as the Depression hits (which will make the Recession look like a Sunday school picnic), people will be begging, killing even, for jobs that pay that much money. But, the fat cats won't care because they'll still be raking in millions of bucks a year in salaries and bonuses. It's just unAmerican to think that those large corporations should have to pay taxes.
Well then I am glad I am a CANADIAN,and I have no problem thinking these corporations should pay their share. Thanks for the reply. Squeeky-changes-suck 5 months ago .
If they paid their fair share, they could probably balance the budget with no problem! If I were younger, I'd find a job in Canada and move up there this Summer! .
Would be glad to have ya up here OH. Squeeky-changes-suck 5 months ago .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
