I don't think his skin color is going to give him any edge. If he gets any notable amounts of followers, they will probably be heavily religious and conservative. Black, white, yellow or brown has very little to do with it.
No, Herman Cain will not help the GOP capture the black vote. And that is because Cain is a stone-cold conservative and the vast majority of blacks are not drawn to conservatives, not even black ones. Keep in mind, such black conservatives as Justice Clarence Thomas, Condaleeza Rice, Thomas Sowell and I ;-) are VERY unpopular among blacks.
Yes. Many of the Black Christians would vote for him over Obama. Obama's Muslim roots have surfaced, and many Christian voters want to vote for one of their own.
He isn't running for the black vote; he's a very respectable conservative that many people agree with. I don't think anyone who voted for Obama because he was black will vote for Cain because he is. And thank goodness, we don't need that mess again!
It is hard for me to believe that an intelligent person would choose a leader of the free world by color, or religion or even party. If he is the best man for the job, that will become evident as he campaigns.
He might be able to take some of the Black vote away from Obama, but he isn't playing to Black voters. As Herman puts it, "I am an American first". He doesn't play the race card.
I think he will probably do well among the Independent voters regardless of their color.
It's not often you meet a black nerd, Barr told Hall. Most nerds are white -- like you. If Barr has said anything as piercing since, it's passed my attention.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
