Will I be able to run Battlefield 3 on ultra settings with over 60 fps on the alienware m14x?

It should with no problems for the first few months. You laptop will get extremely hot though and probably boot you off at some point though. Laptops are convenient but not practical for serious gaming.

Don't let Alienware fool you. They're made by Dell and we all know that Dell laptops don't last long at all, especially for gaming.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
