Well, that's a good point you make. The greatest threat to world peace right now is war between Iran and Israel. If we use history as a guideline, the US won't invade Iran until that nation is weak and it's people are practically starving.
Iraq and Afghanistan were the two weakest countries in the Middle East, so we knocked them over. Expect a decade of embargos and other sanctions, followed by aerial attacks on key infrastructure points. When Iran can barely stand on its own two feet, we'll probably find an excuse to invade.
I imagine that they will, eventually. Israel does not have a history of unsubstantiated threats. The problem herein is that Israel knows it will have the military support of the U.S.No "Christian" nation wants to be opposed to Israel during a war because the boggey-man might come down and initiate the Rapture.
I sincerely hope that our leaders are not dumb enough to invade any more countries for a while...I imagine they will at least wait until the presidential elections are over. At this point, it boggles my mind that young people are still willingly enlisting in the U.S.Armed Forces. I mean, I did it, but I was stupid.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
