Will my black lab border collie mix get along with a 5 month old german shepherd lab mix?

Sorry but there is no possible way to tell, if neither dog has ever had an issue with other dogs than it's unlikely they'll fight. If either dog has had a history of dog aggression..well you probably shouldn't be setting up a doggie play date. You just have to find out by letting them meet.

Just supervise them very closely and make sure nothing can get out of control.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
