See api.jquery.com/jQuery.get/ You need to add dataType of "json" to your $. Get call.
Thank you for your help. I ended up using a template instead. – morcutt Nov 29 '10 at 23:56.
I'm having this same problem, but my experience with jQuery and javascript are very limited. I've read through the api link from @fullware, and I've tried finding helpful information about templates but none of my experiments seem to work. Can anyone give a little more information on the solution to this problem?
I tried this with liveQuery first and got the same exact problem, then switched over to the jQuery. Live usage here, same exact issue. I tried adding an action to my controller and changing my partial to a template for that action.
But, when I test it out, it still renders the full page using a partial. Every potential solution to this problem I've found is either 4 years old and doesn't work, or is incomplete and doesn't work.
Nevermind. I'm not sure exactly what I was doing wrong, but this Railscast solved all my problems: railscasts. Com/episodes/174-pagination-with-ajax – Josh Kovach Jan 8 at 17:10.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
