They could in the past, but the sensitivity level has been adjusted to prevent this from happening. And the number that you would have to eat to get a positive result currently is more than you could eat in a few days! Answer Actually it depends on who is doing the testing.
Standard over the counter tests won't pick up on it but the labs that probation offices and other court ordered urinalysis tests go to will read it, and it doesn't take much! I am currently in drug court and a fellow client there just had a false positive from eating two poppy seed bagels the day before. They told our group that it came back positive for methadone, however there is a difference in the chemical make up and the tests they did concluded it was poppy seeds from food before they even asked him.
I know every one says you need to eat an obscene amount of poppy seeds to get a false positive but they have adapted their tests to be very sensitive to anything that could even remotely be drugs in your system I am also on drug court and was placed in jail for two days because I ate JUST ONE poppy seed bagel. It does not take much to fail.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
