Oh I don't know - it must be a little embarrassing for Mr Romney, considering it was his idea in the first place! And have you ever asked yourself why health care providers should be making a profit? Shouldn't the first order of the day be supplying ordinary American citizens with affordable health care?

In the past, ordinary hard-working American people have lost everything - gone bankrupt and lost their houses and their life savings if they had to face a serious illness or extended hospital stay. Is that the way it should stay? In Canada it does not cost money to have a baby in the hospital, get surgery (unless they go private) or receive treatment.

Drugs are more expensive for us north of the border these days and our once stellar health care system is also sliding down the shite heap, but no one loses their house! Or owes tens hundreds or thousands of dollars? Nor should they.

Nor should you. Your pharmaceutical companies push drugs on TV without even saying what they're for, and create a society of disease because they make money from it. And a little word about insurance companies?

And the wonderful HMO's? They're in it for the money too and the minute they can start jacking people around again, they will. You can quote me some editorial out of Forbes till the cows come home, but I'm not buying because the GOP wants to make money, spend none of it on taxes (so bridges don't just fall down in a heap of rubble) and all the poor people can go take a flying leap as far as they are concerned.

Greed does terrible things to people, and it makes the country look bad. A nation is only as strong as it's weakest link and civilized countries look after their people. Or there will be no middle class, just rich and poor.

It's happening in Canada too with our megalomaniac Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who I can only hope pulls a Mama Cass at lunch some day soon. Help!

You are VERY wrong. The WRITERS of that provision openly boasted its purpose is to END ALL insurance except as POLITICALLY chosen. HHS isn’t screwing around.

They actually mean to see to it that YOUR insurance company stops existing. Good luck keeping your plan "if you like it." Do your replacement shopping right away or don't bother shopping.

It also becomes ILLEGAL for existing companies to write ANY new policies in a couple years. YOUR care WILL be CONTROLLED by a D.C. bureaucrat who has total plenary power not subject to appeal or review by any authority - except he IS directed in exactly ONE way. He MUST use "cost to the government" as a core factor in deciding if you will be ALLOWED treatment.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
