Eagles fan here. I assume you are talking about last years Monday night game in Indy? I don't remember all of the details, but I remember after the game thinking that I didn't feel good about the win.
We were 2-0 after that game, but barely edged out JAX in week 1, and did same vs Indy. The penaltys were lopsided (11 for Philly 4 for Colts) but I remember 1-2 of those against Indy in 2nd half were real iffy (and I probably said "we got lucky there" as I watched it). I think it was a combination of Sproles, fatigue on Colts defense, and maybe Colts trying to sit on lead.
But Philly also left a lot of points on the board in the 1st half....missed FG, drops by WR's, and wide open missed throws by Foles.
It was a meaningless preseason game. Teams don't game plan for the specific opponent and play pretty vanilla defenses.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
