Because Muslim Brotherhood do not want normal relations with a criminal state like Israel. Since cutting all relations with Israel is the wish of majority of Egyptian people, then it is normal that any democratic government in Egypt will not be friendly with Israel. BCMR: Jordan is not democratic, but is friendly with Israel.
Egypt under Mubarak dictatorship regime was friendly with Israel. So your analogy is wrong as usual my friend. Update: I remember having a conversation with our friend BCMR about that same topic where he failed to prove how is Israel democratic, and how can a government establish friendly relations with Israel, against the wishes of its own people, be called democratic.

Muslim Brotherhood made it very clear; the first thing they will do if the come to power will be to cancel the peace treaty with Israel. In case you , in your 14 years , do not understand what the cancellation of the peace treaty means, I shall explain it to you; it means war. Not that Israel were too scared of it, but of course the perspective of the war does not make Israel happy.
Military officers are more reasonable and soberly thinking than the Muslim Brotherhood, not because they hate israel less but simply because they are professionals who know the true balance of power. They will not directly cancel the peace treaty, but they will do all they can to weaken Israel and use others to attack it. The live proof is the two iranian waships - fregate Alvand and a supply vessel "Kharg" - to whom Egypt permitted to pass through the Suez and then head for Syria.
It´s not the question of two warships but rather the cargo they carry. Kharg is carrying the long- range missiles for hezbollah and Alvand is a guard ship for Kharg, which makes the flotilla the legitimate target for the Israeli strike. But Egypt could without any problem not grant the Iranian waships the permission to pass through Suez instead of putting all the Middle East on the brink of the good all--out war.
Egypt chose another way. So, the policy of Egypt about Israel is clear. And also is clear that Israel cannot tolerate this treacherous policy for a long time.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
