I will pray for this to never ever happen. Anonymous questions are annoying enough. The only way I would see that could allow for responsible anonymous answers would be for them to cost Mahalo Dollars to leave.
Lets say 3 maybe 5 Mahalo Dollars per anonymous answer. The cost of leaving an anonymous answer would deter any user from just doing so without a real good reason otherwise I am absolutely sure that Mahalo Answers would be completely over run with anonymous trolls and we would degrade into a swamp of useless name calling and banter. Please oh please Mahalo decision makers .. please never punish us with anonymous answers.
Mahalo has become what it is now through a program of trust through transparency .. without the attribution, without the responsibility attached to answering with your own name the very foundation of Mahalo Answers will crumble to pieces.
I don't like the idea. That could stimulate debate, but more likely it would invite trouble. Anonymous cowards would feel free to say whatever stupid or inciteful thing they wanted without recourse.
I think a person who values his or her own opinions strongly enough should be confident enough to stand behind them publicly.
I do not see this happening because an anonymous answer would not make too much sense. I feel that maybe people hide behind the anon questions if they have an embarrasing question to ask but for answers I do not see it. And what debate would it help?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
