It hasn't happened to me. And I have a sensitive smoke detector and lots of dogs and frequent dog poo. But I never had a steaming pile situated right under the detector, though.
Maybe that is the key. I think some scientific experiments might be in order here... EDIT: Ok, I've been able to establish that human excrement would *not* set off a fire alarm, even if placed directly underneath it. On an unrelated note, what do women prefer: white or red roses?
I...uh...kind of did something that made my wife upset.
I don't think it would. It was probably the food in the slow cooker that set the alarm off. Sometimes smoke is there, but you don't notice it because its already in the room you're in, so your eyes already adjusted to it and told your brain that there is nothing out of the ordinary.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
