Will winter park open more trails?

There has been a long snow drought the entire month of December. It typically snows every few days in December, but WP hasn't seen accumulating snow since November It will snow a small amount later this week (3-4inches) and it is possible that this high pressure pattern will break around Christmas, meaning that larger storms (5+ inches) will begin to frequently roll through Likely it will be snowing on your holiday, but I doubt they'll open much more terrain till around New Years The entire country is actually having a snow drought at the moment. Lake Tahoe CA is almost bone dry.

Not every year can be good. Incidentally, southern Colorado is doing pretty well so Telluride may be a better bet.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
